Attract Top Talent With Recruitment Films
Recruitment films can play a critical role in attracting top talent.
Video is a powerful medium that connects with potential candidates, enabling them to look behind the scenes and learn about your firm’s culture, approach and opportunities. As a result, they will have a more informed opinion and are more likely to reach out and apply for the position!
Key Benefits of Recruitment Films
MAIN CONSIDERATIONS WHEN CREATING A RECRUITMENT FILM
Who is the target audience?
For example, if it’s a graduate film you may want to consider this tried and tested format:
‘A day in the life’ story that follows a graduate trainee through a typical day at the firm. It shows how they will become valued colleagues as well as the opportunities that the training with you will offer. Every firm has a unique brand and style, so we will work with you to create a story which will capture the attributes and specialisms of your firm and will inspire and entice would-be trainees. The narrative would include interviews with the trainee and partners, describing aspects of life at the firm, and the experiences a trainee can expect to have in their first year.
“I can't speak highly enough of the team at Talking Edge. We've enlisted them for a number of critical projects, all with extremely challenging deadlines and requirements, and the team have worked tirelessly to deliver a superb product in every instance. In my marketing and business development role at Hogan Lovells, Talking Edge have saved the day on numerous occasions. I'd recommend them to anyone; and especially to those who want a top-notch product when your back's to the wall!”

How are you planning to promote your film?
Short format films of 30-60 seconds are best for social media and can link to longer format films. During the pre-production phase, we'll work through the storyboard to create various formats to suit your different campaigns. We can also develop an interactive version with 'branches' that provide 'choice points' allowing the viewer to choose what they want to watch. With an interactive format, we can embed questions and contact forms within the video. The use of interactive is inexpensive and will increase viewer engagement significantly – it is proven to have a conversion rate of 3 to 4 times that of linear video.
“I cannot complement Talking Edge highly enough. They understood our brief, produced a high quality product and were very flexible and patient during the editing process. Their editing portal is very user-friendly and the team is a delight to work with.”
